jmi ngf-55d replacement focuser

jmi ngf-55d focuser

want a big bang for the money, here is a product that will deliver just that.   the quality is there from top to bottom and it is as solid as a rock.   this compared to the factory plastic focuser is like day to night.  i can now focus my ccd devices using a .50 focal reducer due to its low profile and two stage focus tubes.  installation was easy and documentation was supplied to install it on my lxd75 sn-10.  this focuser has a zero backlash design (crawford) and has eliminated my image shift during focusing.  this would be a great upgrade to your lxd75 sn at any price if your stock focuser is less then you require.  what a difference this item has made in my telescope and performance.

manufacture by = jmi  (http://www.jimsmobile.com)

cost = @ $ 189  us dollars

vendor/supplier = www.telescopes.com.   ( below is the description available at the time of my purchase 12/2005 which outlines the product)

the ngf-55d focuser is specifically designed for replacing the original focuser on the meade lxd55 / lxd75 sn-8 and sn-10 telescopes. the focusers shown here are racked all the way out. the 2-1/2" extension tube is standard equipment. it can be removed for photographic work.
