one of the most frustrating parts of amateur
astronomy for the person starting is finding objects in the sky.
most experienced amateur astronomers will tell you that learning the night
sky is extremely valuable even if you are using a new goto telescope.
sky charts help and the good old hunt and peck till you find it method
works but is slow.
here is a new product (skyscout by celestron
) that will change how we learn the night sky. i would expect this
item would be great for the observer using binoculars, stargazers, dob/non-goto
users and for checking out seeing conditions in a given part of the sky.
i think that anyone that loves the night sky or has a child that loves
the stars will want to get this new product.
i found a review

is.

imagine a product that you can point at the sky and identify what you
are looking at or instruct it to lead you to your selected object/target.
checkout the new celestron's skyscout.
